Privacy Policy
App privacy first - then the marketing site and waitlist.
Last updated: July 29, 2026. This policy covers the turbolapper macOS app (including turbolapper - AFM) and turbolapper.com (and related pages). It is not legal advice; we may update it when practices change.
Who we are
turbolapper provides Local Analytics software - a private AI analyst designed to run on your Mac. Contact for privacy questions: use Engage or the email you receive from waitlist communications when available.
The turbolapper macOS app
This section covers the turbolapper app for Mac. It is the part of this policy most people are looking for, so it comes first: we receive nothing from the app. Analysis stays on your Mac. No usage statistics, crash reports, or account required.
The files you add
A data file you add to the app is read on your Mac and stays on your Mac. It is not uploaded, copied to a server, or shared with us or anyone else. Remove it from the app and the app's copy of it is deleted with it.
Who analyses your data
The analysis runs on your own machine, using Apple Intelligence, the model built into macOS. Analysis runs with Apple Intelligence on your Mac.
What we collect from the app
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. We do not know how many questions you ask, what data you loaded, or whether you opened the app today.
Sign-in free
The app requires no sign-in and no email address to use. There is no account for us to hold information in, which is the reason the App Store privacy label for this app reads Data Not Collected.
Purchases
If you buy a subscription, Apple processes the transaction and we do not receive your payment details or your email address from it. We learn only that a purchase exists.
What would change this
If a future version of the app can send your data off your device, or requires an account, we will say so before it ships and revise this policy on the record. You will see the update on this page.
